境内の奥に控える拝殿を見上げつつ、急な石段を一段一段登ってゆきますと
巨大な二本の杉に守られながら、複雑な屋根の岡本神社が姿を現します。

ARTST STATEMENT
This series consists of five prints : “Otsuka” “Curtain of Cedars” “Sedimentation Pond”
“Okamoto Erosion Control Dam” and “Otaki Shrine”. These works were created
on-site, inspired by fieldwork conducted in the local area.
I created them while reflecting on the majesty of
nature, the region’s faith, and the daily lives of its people

本シリーズは、「大塚」「杉のカーテン」「沈砂地」「岡本砂防堰堤」「大滝神社」の
5つの版画作品で構成され、地域でのフィールドワークから得たインスピレーションを
もとに現地で作成したものです。自然の雄大さや信仰、そして地域の人々の暮らしに
思いを馳せながら取り組みました。
